Medical Assistant ? Family PracticeA well-established and stable private Family practice with 3 Doctors needs an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative patient care. The practice is centrally located in San Diego a little bit north of Mission Valley. Requirements: ? Medical Assistant with 2 or more years recent work experience in a private practice or clinic setting? Experience with blood draws and packaging for lab? Experience with insurance authorizations for tests and prescriptions? Experience with charting using paper charts? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities: ? Room patients, take and record vital signs, update and note patient medications? Assist Doctors with patient office visits? Prepare rooms, trays and instruments? Prepare and stock patient rooms? Insurance authorizations and scheduling for tests as ordered by Doctor? Prescription refills? Other duties may be assigned by Doctors and Office Manager The private practice provides a stable and professional work environment with opportunity to work independently and make a difference. Full time permanent position Monday ?
