Medical Front Desk Receptionist We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a specialty surgeon in an established and growing private practice setting. The office is located in the Alvarado Hospital area currently and will be moving to a brand new office in Mission Valley later this year.This position is full time permanent. Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 What we are looking for:? 2 or more years recent work experience as a Medical Receptionist in a private practice or clinic.? Knowledge and experience with patient medical insurance plans, insurance verifications and authorizations. ? Organized and self-motivated. ? Excellent verbal & written English language communication skills.? Strong commitment to first class customer service.What you will do:? Check patients in and out at front desk.? Collect co pays when patient insurance requires a co pay and credit to their account.? Balance payments at the end of each day. ? Verify insurance coverage before patient visit for patients with insurance through Covered California plans ? Provide a professional and friendly experience in the Receptionist area for patients and vendors.? Work as a team player with other staff and willing to help in other areas as needed. ? Other duties may be assigned by Doctor or Office Manager. The schedule is Monday ? Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The rate of pay is $15.00 ? 16.00 hr. to start based on experience.
