(New Aug 2014) SOLAR AND BATTERIES New Kyocera 175 watt solar panel, mounted on stern railing (not as in pictures on the deck)4 independent batteries.1 Deep cycle battery 80 amp hours, New Nov 2014. House batteries can run lights and normal useage for 4 or 5 days without engine charge. If you have Sun, the solar panel maintains the bank very well. House battery and or solar panel also can start the engine in an emergency. ENGINE The atomic 4 engine was taken out of boat and completly rebuilt in August 2014 with new piston rings and bearings, cooling water hoses, water strainer, fuel lines, water separator, etc. Since rebuild it has about 200 hours on it, however The engine recently blew the head gasket and is partially stripped down. (this because a cheap carboard central american gasket was used)Fuel consumption is around .5 of a gallon per hour. Fuel tank holds around 35 gallons. The prop is pitted and old and will need to be changed soon. SAILS AND RUNNING RIGGING Comes with 4 sails. 2 Huge 150% Genoas. One is up on the roller furling system and in great condition and the other needs repairs. The main sail was replaced with a sail originally for a bigger boat and cut to fit. It has 2 reefing points. It is in great condition. The 4th sail is a storm main which is also good use for a backup. All of the running rigging has been recently replaced..New main halyard, new furling line, etc. She is a beauty to sail, and a dry ride. Almost no splash into the cockpit even in rough weather. Average speed of 5 knots with good conditions and we've done 120 mile passages at 6 to 7 knots maxing over 9. Wheel helm. Winches serviced. STANDING RIGGING The standing rigging has been mostly redone...New sidestay chainplates, Replaced all stays and shrouds with oversized wires with new norseman fittings including forestay inside the roller furling. It is solid and we have sailed the boat thousands of miles with no problems. Keel stepped mast. GALLEY There is a full galley with a new faucet. 2 burner Origo alcohol stove with oven. Big icebox of about 10 cubic feet. If it's stocked with 3 or 4 gallons of block ice before a trip, everything inside will stay cold for at least 2 or 3 days without replenishing any ice.
